Smoke on the Mountain takes the audience into the 1930's Southern Gospel music scene through the lives of the Sanders Family at a Gospel sing in a little church in the Smoky Mountains. Comedy and inspiration come together in this musical presented by special arrangement with Samuel French.

This classic tells the story of Queen Eleanor who is let out of prison only for holidays and plays an active role in the royal family conflict during the Christmas of 1183. This Christmas, return to the Middle Ages with the Plantagenet Family and their rival ambitions to lead the kingdom. Oz awaits! Join us for the beloved classic music filled with much heartwarming adventure and many new friends that Dorothy meets along the way! Originally written by L. Frank Baum with Music and Lyrics by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg, this version based upon the Classic Motion Picture was adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company with Background Music by Herbert Stothart, Dance and Vocal Arrangements by Peter Howard, Orchestration by Larry Wilcox, owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed in all media by Warner Bros. This play is presented by special arrangements with Tams Witmark.
